4. Preparation: I gather and prepare the herbs and traditional items the ritual requires.
5. Performance: I perform the ritual at my shrine. You do not need to travel; I tell you when it is done and what you may need to do on your side.

Often a spiritual cleansing comes first, so that bad luck does not block the ritual.
