Do you want your ex back, or the relationship back?
Before any work begins, I ask every client one honest question: do you want this person back, or do you want back the relationship you had at its best? They are not always the same. Sometimes people miss the early months — the warmth, the attention, the feeling of being chosen — more than the person as they became later. Sometimes the person is right, but the way you lived together was wrong.
When I read the bond, I look at both. If the love between you is real and the problems were circumstances, pride or outside interference, reconnection makes sense. If the reading shows that the same pain would simply return, I tell you so, and we talk about what would need to change first. There is no honest single answer. In my experience, a strong bond with a recent breakup can show signs within a few weeks. A bond weakened by years of distance, a new partner or a deep betrayal needs more time and sometimes more than one piece of work. When getting your ex back is not the right goal
A traditional healer must sometimes say no. I will not work to bring back someone who hurt, threatened or controlled you. I will also be honest when the reading shows that the bond has ended and your future lies elsewhere. In those cases my work turns to healing your heart and opening the way for new love — which is just as important.
